Hello my name is Alishia S. Zimmerman-Rainey and I'm a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor in the State of Maryland.  Growing up in Los Angeles, it was always my desire to make a difference in my community.  A proud Howard University Alumna, I've been a clinician for 21 years and in private practice for 15.  Currently I operate Talk To Me, Inc. in Southern MD and have had the honor of serving multiple generations in families., often referring to  myself as " Maryland's therapist" as I've worked all across the state.  The practice serves various Populations, Mood and Anxiety Disorders, Trauma and Crisis, Couples and Families, Active-Duty Military, Veterans, Domestic Violence Survivors and those battling substance abuse. I'm also the Director of the Counseling at my family church, City of Praise in Landover, MD.

I'm a married mother of 4 with one Grandson and plenty of bonus children.  Mexican American food is my favorite and I love the ocean.
